ROSTI Contrast Jersey
ROSTI Contrast Jersey
Description
The word is French but the history is all English. The graphics accentuate the characteristic weft of the original Pied du Poule and are an amalgam of brightness and contrast. The British disagree over the name, some say dog’s tooth while others say hound’s tooth and the difference is huge. Wool of interwoven black and white yarns originally worn by Scottish shepherds, it was then worn and made popular by King Edward VIII just before he abdicated. Yet another contrast. From then on, op art type abstract art and optical illusions. ROSTI's CONTRAST PIED de POULE is the jersey that invokes the audacity of contrast and of comfort zones.
