The next generation of aerodynamic road bike tire performance, developed in close collaboration with the experts from DT Swiss and Swiss Side. The AERO 111 is based on the race-proven technologies of the GP5000 TR series and sets new standards in aerodynamics. The race-optimized Black Chili Compound ensures excellent grip and lower rolling resistance, while the proven Vectran Breaker provides puncture protection. The patented, aerodynamically optimized tread design is equipped with 48 precision-formed air chambers. These so-called "vortex generators" create controlled turbulence on the front wheel, allowing the airflow to adhere to the rim for longer, which reduces drag and optimizes handling in crosswinds.

The sailing effect (forward force) increases at all speeds. Even with lower rim profiles, riders benefit from this effect because the laminar airflow stays longer on the rim and the air resistance of the wheel-tire system is reduced.

The BlackChili tire compound is known for its perfect balance of grip and low rolling resistance. For the AERO 111, Continental uses a race-optimized compound to ensure the lowest possible rolling resistance and exceptional grip on wet and dry surfaces. Vectran Breaker

Vectran is spun from the liquid crystal polymer Vectra. This creates a thermoplastic, multi-fiber yarn. By comparison, this semi-crystalline fabric is more cut-resistant than aramid and has five times the tensile strength of steel. A Vectran Breaker is lighter, more flexible and protects more effectively against cuts than comparable nylon breakers. The rolling resistance is not negatively affected.Active Comfort Technology

Lets you become one with the road. Lasered micro-tread structure focuses on the shoulder area of the tire, giving you increased cornering grip.

For initial assembly, Continental recommends using at least 30ml Conti RevoSealant per tire. Then rotate the tire or wheel to distribute the Conti RevoSealant and inflate to maximum pressure. Before the first ride, check the pressure again and re-inflate if necessary. Hookless compatible, please refer to the table on rim width and maximum pressure on the product packaging.
